Catered chalet menus
If you are anything like us you will agree that good food is an important part of a catered ski chalet holiday. At Chilled Mountain there is no exception to this rule. Good quality wines and delicious menus are carefully designed for catered chalet guests returning from a day on the slopes.
Breakfast
A selection of yoghurts, cereal, toast and croissants are served every day with the option of a hot plate on 6 mornings. Hot choices include BLT, French Toast, scrambled/poached eggs and porridge.
Afternoon tea
Treats such as carrot cake, Chocha Mocha Starbucks cake and lemon and orange cake all make a regular appearance on the afternoon tea table.
Evening meal
Your evening meal consists of 3 courses and complimentary wine served with the meal. Here is a sample of what you might expect to see on your menu during your catered ski chalet holiday:
French Onion Soup
The Classic French first course. Finely sliced white onions, sweetened and softened before being boiled in red wine and beef stock with strong herbs.
Tartiflette
Savoir fair at it’s best! A local farmhouse staple. Layered potatoes with garlic and lardons cooked with cream and finished with a Reblochon crust. Served with local charcuterie meats and a hearty Savoyarde salad (lettuce leaves, soft boiled eggs and potato and bacon croutons).
Semifredo
A homemade soft cheese ice cream on a biscuit base with summer fruit berries.
