Everything we could've asked for
We had a fantastic time last week- the resort was great, the chalet was everything we could've asked for, and Liz and Dave were excellent hosts. We'll definitely be recommending Chilled Mountain to friends, and would hope to return ourselves in the future.

Everything went like clockwork
What a fantastic week we all had. Everything went like clockwork from the moment we were met by your taxi friends at grenoble. The chalet is fantastic and what a find you have made in Dave and Liz. They made us feel so welcome at Chilled Mountain it was as if we had known them for years. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented and certainly lived up to if not exceeded all our expectations. I have stayed in a number of chalets but this was definately the best.

A brilliant holiday - we'd definitely like to return
Just returned from Oz and what a week we had. Completely delighted with the chalet, the location, the snow, the sun .... and oh yes, the food! Claire and James are exceptional: soooooo helpful and kind. They made a great week even better.
We really enjoyed your wife's paintings too. They gave the chalet a personal touch and we loved her style.
It was absolutely perfect
I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous time we had in Oz for Christmas...it was absolutely perfect- the weather was perfect and I understand that it is said to have been the best snow in the village at Christmas for 11 years. The accommodation is brilliant and we will definitely be recommending you...and also hope to book again next year! James and Claire are such lovely people and very good at their job it seems!
We eagerly looked forward to the meals
On behalf of myself and the other 9 guests who stayed, we want to express what a wonderful time we had. The chalet was lovely, and the village, weather & skiing was fantastic, but most of all, it was Claire & James who made our holiday so enjoyable.
The food they served was absolutely top quality, and every day we eagerly looked forward to the meals. They were very helpful with their local knowledge, and recommendations of places to eat, how to get around etc.
Best chalet in the area
For the location of a chalet this is by far the best I've stayed in. As a regular visitor to the Alpe d'huez area; mainly because of my interest in skiing and cycling, I've stayed in a few places. This chalet is simply the most relaxing place to stay - literally walking distance to one of the main lifts (I loathe lugging my skis around) and a balcony with views over the lake below like no other in Oz. Inside the decor is sumptuous and warm and each room has plenty of space - unlike some chalets I've stayed in where you're simply living on top of each other.
A very pleasant experience all round. Full marks!!
Breathtaking views and comfort
As a ski resort novice Chilled Mountain Chalets really set the positive tone for the rest of my break. They are simply and freshly decorated with plenty of bathrooms (very important!) and space in the communal area and all rooms can be made up as twins or comfortable doubles. The view from the lounge / dining area (where there's also a spacious balcony) and some of the bedrooms is breathtaking. The catering is lush and Claire and James were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the facilities on offer.
An added bonus is their proximity to the village amenities and ski lifts - most welcome when you're not used to walking in ski boots!
