At Chilled Mountain we pride ourselves on our catered chalet menus, here are a few choices to tempt you:

Bruschetta

Lightly toasted ciabatta rubbed with garlic and drizzled with olive oil before being topped with emmental cheese. Served with fresh tomatoes, sliced red onions and basil tossed in balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Steak and Ale Pie

Succulent steak fried with mushrooms and onions and then slow stewed in honeyed Ale served with a Puff Pastry basket. Accompanied by sweet potato wedges and a traditional shredded endive and carrot salad with raisins and a French vinaigrette.

Bread and Butter Pudding

A Traditional British dessert with a French kick! Torn croissants and pastries, soaked in Brandy, and baked in a light custard.

Goats Cheese Salad

French Bread topped with goats cheese and grilled. Served on a bed of peppery Rocket with a homemade red onion marmalade.

Herb Crusted Fish

A Cod loin poached in white wine and then grilled to toast a herb and breadcrumb crust. Accompanied with minted baby potatoes, green beans and cherry tomatoes with a reduced balsamic glaze and Hollandaise sauce.

Chocolate Pudding

Heaven on a plate! Individual chocolate fondants with a liquid chocolate centre with lashings of whipped cream for extra naughtiness.

Caprese

Sliced sweet tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil with an Italian dressing

Coq au Vin

Watch this chicken fall off the bone having cooked all day with shallots, garlic and lardons in a bottle of red wine. Served with creamy mashed potato and roasted baby carrots.

Vanilla Mousse

White Chocolate and Vanilla Mousse with a Raspberry Coulis

Vegetable Soup

Roasted root vegetables blended with thyme and fresh parsley. Served with homemade bread rolls.

Mustard Chicken

Tender chicken breasts marinated in Dijon and wholegrain mustards and gently pan fried. Accompanied with creamy Dauphinois potatoes, crisp mangetout and dressed savoyarde cabbage.

Fruit Crumble

Caramelised apples, pears and peaches baked with a shortbread crumble and served with homemade vanilla custard.

Duck Salad

Brilliantly rare duck breast with a Hoi Sin dressing. Served on a bed of noodles, beansprouts, carrot and sweet basil.

Thai Green Curry

Diced chicken breast softly cooked in coconut milk and gently spiced with lime leaves, mixed peppers and dill. Served with fragrant rice cooked in turmeric with a cooling cucumber and mint yoghurt or a fiery tomato and chilli salsa.

Coupe Colonel

Refreshing lemon sorbet with a warm summer fruit coulis laced with vodka
